This type of Sage, sometimes called Kitchen Sage or European Sage, is an excellent herb for cleansing, banishing and protection. It can be used for smudging just like the "American" sages. It can also be used to make a decoction that can be added to mop water or cleaning water to magickally clean floors, surfaces and even the body.
